Lloydminster, AB/SK – Fire Chief
The City of Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan has appointed Bill Heesing as fire chief of Lloydminster Fire Department.
Heesing joined Lloydminster Fire in 2018 as assistant chief and brings more than 35-years of firefighting experience to his new role.
According to Wikipedia, Lloydminster AB/SK, “…has the unusual geographic distinction of straddling the provincial border between Alberta and Saskatchewan.” Lloydminster Fire Department serves a population of about 31,500 over about 42.04 km2 with two fire stations and a composite department of 51 members.
