The City of White Rock, BC has appointed Brad Davie as its new fire chief.
Davie comes to White Rock from the City of New Westminster Fire Department (BC) where he served for more than 20 years, most recently as deputy chief. Davie is a licenced Clinical Pharmacist, and recipient of numerous awards.
White Rock Fire Rescue consists of a fire chief, two deputies, an administrative assistant, 24 professional career firefighters, and 20-24 auxiliary paid-per-call firefighters dispatched by the Surrey Fire Dispatch Centre from one fire station.
According to Wikipedia, White Rock, BC is a municipality of Metro Vancouver Regional District, bordered on one side by Semiahmoo Bay and on three sides by Surrey, B.C. with a population of about 22,000.
