New Deputy Chief in Timmins, ON
The Timmins Daily Press reported that Scott Foster has been appointed as Timmins new Deputy Chief.
Foster served as a volunteer firefighter before being hired as a full-time firefighter by Timmins in 2014 and later serving as president and vice-president of the Timmins Professional Fire Fighters Association (IAFF Local 535). In an interview with The Daily Press, Foster held up his successful record as chief training officer as one of the reasons he got the job. Timmins Fire Department has 35 career firefighters and 122 volunteer firefighters working out of six stations.
